Day 2VARSOVIA - CRACOVIA

Panoramic visit to the city. The tour includes: the Old City carefully rebuilt after World War II; the Castle Square and the Royal Castle; the Old Town Market Square, the Cathedral of San Juan, where the kings of Poland, the Barbican, the Great Theater, the Royal Route, crowded with statues, churches and aristocratic residences were crowned, in which the park is located Royal Łazienki with the beautiful Palace on Water and the famous monument to Frederick Chopin: as well as places related to World War II: the ancient Jewish ghetto; the Warsaw Uprising Monument and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Day 3CRACOVIA - WIELICZKA -CRACOVIA

Breakfast and visit of Krakow, the ancient capital of Poland, city of the kings and place of their coronations and burials. We visited the Old City, surrounded by the green belt of Planty, the park built instead of the defense walls. The Market Square is the largest medieval square in Europe and its shape has remained almost intact since 700 years. Among the buildings in the square stands the Church of Santa Maria, with the famous gothic altarpiece of polychrome wood. On the other side of the square is the Town Hall Tower, and in the center the famous Cloth Market; On the banks of the Vistula River that runs through the city stands Wawel Hill, with the Royal Palace and the Cathedral.
  During the visit there will be a walk through the neighborhood - Kazimierz, a small fragment of what was the Jewish city, and in which its two synagogues, the Old Synagogue, which houses a Jewish museum, and the Remuh Synagogue, stand out. Keep using for religious purposes. Until 1939 Kazimierz resembled the cities described by Isaack Bashevis Singer. The dramatic extermination of the Jews from Krakow was the subject of Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List that filmed it in the original Kazimierz environment. Originally the neighborhood was founded in the fourteenth century as a separate city in Krakow, with its own Market Square and City Hall itself. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon visit the salt mines in Wieliczka which is an impressive set of chambers, chapels and underground galleries sculpted in gem salt, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The mine has been in operation for almost 700 years and reaches up to more than 300 meters deep. The visit consists of touring the corridors beneath the earth sculpted in saline rock, to see the natural formations and underground lakes, as well as the numerous sculptures and chapels, including the largest and most impressive, the Chapel of Santa Kinga, made in rock Salina by artists who have worked in the mines. Day 4CRACOVIA , AUSCHWITZ ,WROCŁAW

Breakfast and departure to Wrocław through the city of Oświęcim, located about 60 km from Krakow, sadly known under its German name Auschwitz. Guided tour of the former concentration camp, built by the Nazis in 1940, which together with another camp built in 1942 in Brzezinka (Birkenau) became the place of extermination of 1.5 million people. Day 5WROCŁAW ,TORUŃ

Breakfast, in the morning visit Wrocław, known in Poland as the city of a thousand bridges. Its millenary history is reflected in its splendid monuments of all ages. We will visit the most important of the center: the market square and its surroundings, with the Gothic church of Santa Isabel, where the patricians of Wrocław lie, and that of Santa María Magdalena, with one of the oldest and most beautiful Romanesque porticos in Central Europe ; Solny Square, the old slaughterhouses (Jatki Miejskie), the old central market, the island of Ostrów Tumski, the University of Wrocław with its impressive Leopoldina Classroom, a masterful example of the Baroque style. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch departure to Toruń - birthplace of Nicolás Cópernico. Upon arrival dinner will be served in the hotel restaurant. Accommodation in Torun.

Day 6TORUŃ, GDAŃSK:

Breakfast, brief panoramic tour of the city Toruń, located on the two banks of the Vistula is a city where the greatest concentration of Gothic architecture in Poland is found. Among the most important highlights its old town with a medieval urban structure, declared by UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will admire the majestic City Hall of the Old City with a panoramic tower, the monuments to Cópernico and the Almadiero, the house of Cópernico (without entrance), the city walls and gates, the ruins of the Teutonic castle and the Leaning Tower. After the visit, lunch at one of the local restaurants in the city. Departure to the north of Poland. Arrival at Gdańsk hotel, dinner and accommodation

Day 7GDAŃSK

Breakfast, half-day visit of the city: the High Gate - fragment of the fortifications of the city and one of its main doors, the Golden Gate that opens onto Długa Street populated by the spectacular houses of the city patriarch where the Mannerism, the Baroque and the Rococo are intertwined on the facades of those residences of the wealthy neighbors of Gdańsk. The street bequeathed to the City Hall crowned with the statue of the Polish king Sigismund Augustus of the natural size. Then another street opens, called Długi Targ (the Long Market), with the splendid Court of Artús where merchants of the Hanseatic League used to be, one of the most beautiful buildings of this type, characteristic for Hansa member cities. In front of the Court of Artús is the fountain of Neptune, while behind you can see the tower of the Basilica of Santa Maria, the largest Gothic church in Gdańsk. Walk along Mariacka Street with its elegant stepped terrace houses and arrive at the Motława River where the medieval port crane and the Green Gate building with sumptuous sculptural decoration, which in past times served as the residence of the Polish kings, stands. Lunch organized in one of the local restaurants of the city. Continuation of the trip visiting the Oliwa Cathedral with its organ and Sopot with its pier. Dinner and accommodation.

Day 8GDAŃSK , MALBORK ,VARSOVIA

Breakfast, departure to the capital of Poland on the road visiting the Castle of the Teutonic Knights of Malbork. This brick castle is the former headquarters of the Grand Master of the Order of the Teutonic Knights, the largest medieval construction of its kind in all of Europe. The building was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle is surrounded by powerful walls with towers and doors. The palace of the Grand Master represents the culmination of the late Gothic courtier. The representative summer refectory is the most beautiful part of the interior of the castle. Currently the castle is the seat of a museum. After the visit, organized lunch in one of the local restaurants in the city. Continuation of the trip to Warsaw. Farewell dinner accompanied by a folk group.

Day 9VARSOVIA

Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
