Everyone who is passionate about traveling has ever dreamed of visiting Egypt. The Pyramids have been fascinating for centuries and we were not going to be less. Egypt was our great dream trip pending, the one that you always have in mind but that you always end up discarding for money well for the situation in the country. Until the opportunity to ‘spend’ our last week of vacation arrived and we decided not to postpone it anymore and launch ourselves to discover this fascinating country.

Itinerario

Day 1 Fri.MEXICO CITY

Assistance arrives to Taba by our representatives through Immigration, visa and customs procedures. Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel and accommodation and rest of the day free.

Day 2 Sat.MEXICO CITY (City, Teotihuacán and Basilica of the Guadalupe)

Breakfast. Departure to know the city of Mexico in which the Plaza de la Constitución or Zócalo stand out, surrounded by buildings of great architectural, artistic and historical value; like the National Palace, with the murals of Diego Rivera; the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Templo Mayor Azteca (exterior). You will have a visit of the main avenues with their monuments. We continue with a visit to the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, located in Tlatelolco. This was for the Aztecs the most important market of their empire, because you could get a wide variety of products. We continue our excursion to the archaeological zone of TEOTIHUACÁN, the mysterious city of the gods, where we will know the gigantic Pyramid of the Sun (built in the 1st Century), the Pyramid of the Moon (built in the 2nd Century), the Avenue of the Dead, the Citadel with the Temple of Quetzalcoatl and the Palace of the Butterflies. Lunch. Back to the city, you visit the modern Basilica of Guadalupe. Rest of the afternoon free.

Day 3 Sun.MEXICO CITY

Breakfast. Free day for optional activities.                                                            It is recommended to visit the Museum of Anthropology, in which the different pre-Hispanic cultures that inhabited the soil of Mexico are represented; Stroll in Xochimilco or take a trip to Cuernavaca and Taxco.

Day 4 Mon.MEXICO CITY - TULA - QUERÉTARO - SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE

Breakfast. Departure to TULA, the Toltec city that flourished between 900 and 1200, where we can appreciate its pyramids and the Atlanteans. Departure to QUERETARO, the Pearl of Bajío. Very important city during the struggle for Independence, today considered a World Heritage Site. Visit the city to appreciate its many Baroque-style buildings, dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, located in the historic center. Lunch . Continuation for SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE. Visit of the city, where its beautiful viceregal mansions and the neo-Gothic Cathedral stand out. Free time to enjoy the nightlife and dine in the Historic Center. Hotel moving and lodging.

Day 5 Tue.SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE - ATOTONILCO - DOLORES HIDALGO - GUANAJUATO

Breakfast. Departure to GUANAJUATO, passing through the town of ATOTONILCO to visit its Chapel built in the 16th century and whose meetings and ceilings are shaped
and fusion of European and pre-Hispanic culture. This place is particularly important, since at the beginning of the War of Independence, the insurgent troops gathered here to form the flag they carried as a banner and that carried the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe. Continue to DOLORES HIDALGO, the birthplace of Mexican Independence and where the tomb of the famous Mexican singer-songwriter José Alfredo Jiménez is. Late in the afternoon, we will arrive to GUANAJUATO, visit of the city that is a World Heritage Site, to see the Pípila Monument, the Juárez Theater, the Union Garden, the Plaza del Baratillo, the University, the Hidalgo Market , the Alley of the Kiss and the Alhóndiga de Granaditas. Free time in the downtown area to see the city illuminated at night and have dinner. Hotel moving and lodging.

Day 6 Wed.GUANAJUATO – TEPOTZOTLAN – CIUDAD DE MÉXICO

Breakfast. Departure to TEPOTZOTLAN for a brief tour of this beautiful town with its Baroque Church (now the Viceroyalty Museum). In the afternoon, we continue to Mexico City. Approximate arrival at 5:00 p.m. (The tour can end without additional charge at the airport to take the continuation or return flight, starting at 8:00 p.m. if it is a domestic flight and 9:00 p.m. if it is an international flight).
