Itinerary

Day 1Malaga Airport – Malaga

Arrival at the airport and departure to Malaga. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation.

Day 2Malaga

Breakfast at the hotel and we start our day in Granada. In the morning we will visit with a local guide the Alhambra of Granada (entrance included). We will transport you to the magical world of The Thousand and One Nights visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Alhambra Palace and its gardens. This royal residence at the top of the mountain is one of the best examples of Moorish architecture in the world. We will be surprised by the cedar wood carvings, the domes, the ornate ceilings, the stucco work and the exquisite mosaics. We can not miss visiting the gardens of the Generalife, where we will walk through the spectacular gardens which they say were inspired by the Koranic description of Paradise. Admire large columns of cypresses, roses, orange trees, oleanders and other flowers and also quiet ponds and tinkling fountains. Lunch by the customer. In the afternoon we can walk through the Royal Chapel and the Cathedral. Check-in at the hotel in Granada and accommodation.

Day 3Baeza – Ubeda – Cordoba

Breakfast at the hotel and we will spend the day in Baeza, a small town. Nowadays it is known mainly for having many of the best preserved examples of Italian Renaissance architecture in Spain (16th century). We will walk through the center of the town. Lunch by the customer. In the afternoon we will visit your neighbor, Úbeda, who has had great support since the beginning of the 16th century thanks to the series of Renaissance-style churches and palaces (some of them declared World Heritage by UNESCO). The historic center is full of labyrinths of small streets that end in majestic palaces. At the end of the day, we will head towards Córdoba. Arrival at the hotel and accommodation.

Day 4Cordoba – Sevilla

Breakfast at the hotel and today we will visit Cordoba with a local guide. This city was an important Roman city and an Islamic cultural center in the Middle Ages. We can visit The Mosque (entrance included), a huge mosque dating from 600 C.E. with a prayer room with columns and Byzantine mosaics. Walking through the narrow streets of the Jewish quarter we will find one of the best preserved synagogues in the country. Lunch in a reserved restaurant. We will continue our trip to Seville. Hotel moving and lodging.

Day 5Sevilla

Breakfast at the hotel and visit the most popular sites in Seville. In the morning we will visit the Cathedral and the Giralda (entrance included) bell tower of the Cathedral of Seville. Originally built as a minaret during the Moorish period. Then we can walk through the unique neighborhood of Santa Cruz, which is a labyrinth of narrow streets and alleyways that go back to the old Jewish quarter (Jewish quarter). Lunch by the customer. In the afternoon we can visit the María Luisa Park, a public park that goes along the Guadalquivir River in Seville and that is its main green area. We can also visit the Plaza de España. Return to the hotel and lodging.

Day 6Jerez de la Frontera – Arcos de la Frontera

Breakfast at the hotel and we will go to Jerez de la Frontera where we will visit the Domecq Cantina (entrance included), a traditional winery. During the visit we can tour the wineries and patios and learn more about the production system of wine and brandy from Jerez. We will also visit the Royal School of Equestrian Art (entrance included). Lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon we will continue our trip to Arcos de la Frontera, located on a spectacular cliff. It is a picturesque town in the province of Cádiz full of small souvenirs of the Arab heritage declared of Cultural Interest. Towers, churches and viewpoints overlooking the Guadalete River are some of the innumerable attractions that this area offers, right on the route of the White Villages. Return to the hotel and lodging.

Day 7Ronda – Antequera – Málaga

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning we will begin our journey from Ronda, following the Route of the White Villages that passes through impressive mountainous landscapes with rocky areas and green valleys. In Ronda we can visit the old town with the Collegiate Church of Santa María or the Bullring of the eighteenth century. Lunch by the customer. In the afternoon we will stop in Antequera, one of the most beautiful cities in Andalusia. The old town, called Alcazaba Araba, experienced its greatest moment of development and wealth between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Arrival at the hotel in Malaga and accommodation.

Day 8Malaga

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the airport.
